______ Vought-Chance F7 Cutlass have e-mailed museum for id

This is probably 128451 the very first F7U-3 as I believe that 129565 is still undergoing restoration in Texas prior to returning to SD for display on the USS Midway .

My log from Nov 8 and 9. Only the KC-135's, P-8, and T-34 were noted on the 9th. All others from the Hornblower harbor tour. Did the two hour tour and got lucky with some overflyers as well as three Ch-53 onboard the Somerset. The North H-60 ramp was doable. The center ramp was difficult and the South ramp is impossible.

Here it goes (some with help from previous notes on this thread as well as the list from Mr Weinrich. Thank you).

I counted the following H-60's on the ramp the morning of the 9th:
North Ramp: 42
Center Ramp: 43
South Ramp: 21

They have quite the H-60 inventory.

Also noted the two F/A-18's onboard the CVN-70 USS Carl Vinson and CVN-71 USS Theodore Roosevelt. CVN-70 looked like ....54 and the CVN-71 was coded .../71 (FA00146). I have a FOIA request in with the PA's of both ships to see if they are willing/able to help ID these birds (stay tuned).

Cheers,

Tally.
