Some afternoon arrivals
(mm62181)/46-46 C-130J IAM 4671
165316 / NY 316 KC-130 Yankee 98
(.......) C-12 convoy 7555 arrived at 16:35Z
Couple of requests
The C-12/UC-12 arrived at about 16:30Z r/t callsign Convoy 7555 - can this be 167555 which I can't find on the web
(16.4??)/YD P-8 is also on the deck - don't know when it arrived, just can't quite read it off

There is a thread on here somewhere showing CNV7555 as 163555
Not sure whether this is a pole off or an electronic hit.

16:58 Thor 67 missed approach while waiting for runway braking numbers
Read off as YD 426 P-8
Landed at 17:05
18:07 either YD851 or LK857 departed at 18:05 ( it's dark but it looked more like LK857) as Nike 66
18:48 Ascot 4508 A400M arrived in the dark
20:46 Ascot 4509 airborne ( was parked on the SW ramp not far from where the Italians were if they had been here, which of course they are not )

Hi Mike,
You've got two ANG C-130Hs on their way to you (RCH111 74-2132 and RCH597 74-1691). Could you please read them off, as it looks like there is a dual usage of hex [AE0320] 74-2132.
Many Thanks.

Can really recommend Iceland for sightseeing as the scenery is amazing. I was based mainly in Reykjavik near the old airport in the hotel Natura which over looks the ramp at BIRK. They have a shuttle bus into the city but it is only 25 minutes walk to the city and the hotel is handy for the motorway network to get around the island.
Bit quiet aviation wise but I did make an F-4E on a stick around the back of Keflavik airbase.
The Hotel Aurora ( rooms 511/512 etc) give a reasonable view of the airfield at KEF and over looks the 19 approach and 01 departure end. I had a rental car but you probably can get around to the mil/biz side by bus as the cheaper hotels are on the old base.
I was informed that scramble are saying that Norwegian F-35 might be deploying here next March so I will hopefully come back.
