Dubendorf, Emmen and Alpbach

I have some time to spare on a trip to Switzerland at the beginning of July and a tour taking in Dubendorf, Emmen and Alpbach bases appears feasible. I was going to add Meiringen but it appears that there is no activity in July there, so leaving that out.

Does anyone have any tips, advice etc based upon recent experience. I will be traveling fairly light, so no steps and limited to a 300mm zoom on my camera for photos.

Alpnach, on maps you'll see a river running north south along the eastern edge of the main rotary ops area. I found this an excellent spot.
You can park in the main car park near the cafeteria or just the other side of the river via Eichistrasse there was a layby where we parked.
