Payerne

Post by IMarsh » Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:25 am

I'm hoping to be able to get a few hours to spend at Payerne next month during a business trip. Other than the museum, I have seen reference to a viewing deck at the Aeropole site. However, the information I was reading is 10 years old, so I wondering does anyone have any recent experience/information as to whether this is still available.

Any other information and or tips would be welcome.

Thanks in advance

Great place, spot 8 in the guide gives great views/photo opps. Well worth a visit to Payerne.

The Spotterguide site has all the details of how to gain access to the Aeropole viewing terrance, including the pre-registration details - see this link.

Also worth checking the Flugbetriebszeiten and Belegungsplan on the Payerne site - this link here.

Enjoy - it's a great base to shoot from. The fence in the South West corner is fantastic for evening ops when they're on 05.
