Even more Lightnings....

When you lived so close to such a great place like Binbrook how can you not just love Lightnings. Here's just a few from my files to enjoy
Nice move by OC/11 Sqd. to have the black fin (1987)
23 Sqd. officially disbanded on the Lightning on 31st October 1975 but these arrived on the 16th ready for reallocation to 5 and 11
Previous 11 Sqd. marks just visible
After the long flight back from Akrotiri - gun pack removed from more fuel plus overwing tanks
56 Sqd. marks removed
Got a shock when 5 Sqdn. CO's plane turned out in this colour scheme
Here was XR770 just a short time previous - thought it was being withdrawn
