Superb. Couple of questions, what are the missiles on the first Scimitar shots, and what's with the Firestreak on the Sea Vixen, is that just a protective cap ?

Got any more ?

Thanks for the kind comments, The missiles on the Scimitars are AGM-12 Bullpups. Not certain about the Sea Vixen could well be a cap.
There are more images, some colour but mainly B/W. some shot on 5x4 negatives.

Superb scans of very interesting subjects. It must have been quite a challenge lugging a 5x4 press type camera and darkslides around an operational carrier. Please sir, can we have some more.

yes I think they did as the Scimitar was the FAA nuclear bomber, if I remember rightly.
