Hi all, have posted this on another forum and thought I would test the brains of the FC community too. I've tried to compile the full list of airframes that have received the gorgous raspberry ripple scheme associated with test and research units. And I do mean the full red/white/blue ripple, not the many other variations such as grey and white, grey and red, red and yellow, standard camo with a bit of dayglo etc etc etc..
This list is as complete as I can manage from knowledge, photos, books etc, obviously if there are any glaring errors amend away.... I count some 35 types (though the Yak52, Chipmunk and Twin Pioneer are very dubious despite their ETPS links) and some 94 individual airframes. I have neglected at this stage to include individual variants/mark/series details, just thought it may while away a few minutes....Oh and I've thrown in the target tug striped Canberras and Sea Vixen.
Any comments/additions etc??

Maybe start a raspberry ripple photo thread ? there's a few types there I wasn't aware of and would like to see.

Nice list ST24.
A subject that I like a lot.

Having checked my books 'Testing Colours' Adrian M Balch and ' Farnborough 100 years of British Aviation' by Peter J Cooper,
the only one I could come up with is Buccaner S.2B XW986.
Should have been the first one I checked having flown her back in 2005 in South Africa.

List updated guys thanks - Bucc and Sea Vixen typos changed. A photo thread would be great. The list stems from a long seated desire to make them all in model form, but that was 15 years, 2 kids, house, wife, blah blah ago...!

Sounds good to me, i remember seeing quite a few off the "Raspberry Ripple" aircraft as well as the Target Tugs at Llanbedr over many years, so it would be nice to see them in a photo thread once again.
