Thanks for the comments chaps, only wish it had been open to get nearer the Nimrod but that was my fault for not checking the times on the website correctly (all the info was there if I had calmed down before racing off to see it so my mistake and nothing to do with the download concert!!)
Summer (1st May-September)
Thursdays 10:30 - 16:00
Saturdays 12:00 - 17:00
Sundays 10:30 - 17:00
Last entrance to the park is 1 hour before closing time.
Additional opening times or extended hours will be on display at the Aeropark and on this web site.
Winter (1st October to April)
Sundays 10:30 to 17:00 or dusk (whichever is earlier)
Entrance to the Aeropark is free for children under 5 years of age, £1 for 5 to 16 years and £3 for adults.
Car parking is free.

After visiting for the first time in over half a year i am overly impressed with the progress made over the time I visit ! I recommend a visit perhaps in conjunction with the f1 museum just down the road !? I saw while visiting plans and fundraising for a second romney hut to house either the lightning, buccaneer or a hunter ! In the romney hut progress had been made on the sea venom and a newly aquirred collection of bmi baby items

had arrived due to the closure of the 9th of the airline, the argosy was also open and a new walkway was being made by the nimrod so it would be able to have a look around in the near future
