Re: Tornado GR1/GR1A,GR4/GR4A Thread
I can probably add a few to this thread. I'll have to have a dig through my hard drive though!
Here's ZA469 departing Oman in 2008. There is a shot that follows this where the pilot (who will remain nameless!) buzzed our home from home rather low in full reheat, there was much panic in the mess apparently with admimners hitting the deck and spilling brews everywhere.....

Re: Tornado GR1/GR1A,GR4/GR4A Thread
Am I right in thinking the serials in red on the list at the start of this thread are the ones that have been covered? Working on that prinicple, here's ZA452/GK 20 sqn seen at IAT 91:
ZA452 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
and ZA463/Q of 15 sqn in Op Granby colours with Garfield nose art at Leuchars BoB day 1991:
ZA463 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
and ZD739/AC of 9 sqn taxying out at Leuchars in Feb 92 following a lunch stop at the Fast Jet Turn-round Facility which handled daily visits from Germany based Tornados and Harriers:
ZD739 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
and ZG706/O of SAOEU at ATI 92 Boscombe Down:
ZG706 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
and ZG727/L of 13 sqn again at ATI 92:
ZG727 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
and ZG709/I 13 sqn at IAT 93:
ZG709 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
If I have misunderstood the red/black text thing, apologies for duplications! :-)

Re: Tornado GR1/GR1A,GR4/GR4A Thread
Quick trawl through the Flickr account found a few more new ones, I think:
ZA401/XIII in 13 sqn special marks at RIAT 2005:
ZA401 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
ZD895/TI on the flightline at Fairford, also 2005:
ZD895_2 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
ZE116/DG 31 sqn GR.1 at Fairford 1993:
ZE116 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
ZG709/I 13 sqn at Fairford 1993 in good ol proper camo:
ZG709 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
ZG727/L again 13 sqn ATI92 flightline (with desert pink droptanks). 13 sqn seemed to be very common at airshows in the early 90s, maybe showing off their new toys?
ZG727 by Al Henderson, on Flickr
That's all on my Flickr account at the moment. Great thread, though, lets appreciate the Tonka before they're all gone again!
