Hey Red Barron,

This is an excellent thread with some great shots.

From 1988 (post Ramstien) or so there was always two UH-60's in the baseball feild for medevac. In fact they would visit Milldenhall about 3 weeks prior to the show for emergency plan reshersals.

The F-117A was the star of the show in '92 along with the F-14

I do have a request for anyone. Does anyone have a picture of Chipmunk WP981/D from 5 AEF from Air Fete '91??. I was an ATC Flight Staff Cadet at Cambridge and I flew into Mildenhall in the Chippie on the Friday in awfull weather. We were there all weekend meeting allsorts of people and teamed up with guys from 614 VGS who had Viking T1 on Static. I have a few in my collection but I'm intriged if anyone else took pics..

Thanks in advance.

regards

Gary

The 1989 show, the RAF fielded 4 GR5, 4 GR1 and 4 Jags in a superb combined attack demo. As you say, we must have followed each other around!!
