Links in Photo Threads - Please all read
I've been seeing more and more photo threads lately which just include an external link, or one picture with an external link. We'd be grateful if images could be posted in the thread itself (or some posted with an external link if there's loads) rather than just a comment and a link somewhere else like Flickr or another website. If you're just looking to promote your own website, please do so in the "Promotion of your Website" section.
Many thanks
Steve

Well said Steve and about time
Not sure what this bloke above is going on about, if its a rare photo or something unusual then they should have a watermark across them, but 99% of the time, its just a boring side on photo which at this time of year 23 other photographers have taken and posted the same pic
If you don't want to post the image on here do what has been suggested and use the premote your website bit of the forum
Edit: just want to say the ones that link to A.net site are very cheeky and that should be stamped out, I totally refuse to click on the link

Hi Dave,
Instead of using the [url] code, which I assume is what you're doing, try using the [img] code.

Try the BBCode, which is in the share menu, this is what happens when you copy and paste the code (Thumbnail size there are other sizes to choose from)

Yes, you're posting your shots correctly.donnyman wrote:sorry to sound a nupty, new to forum do not really understand this message.

To add your location just go into "User Control Panel" then "Profile", type your location and then click-on "Submit".
That should do it.
