Colombian Pucarás, February 1990

Not as exciting as some of my previous stories, but there aren't many pictures around on active Colombian Pucarás.
The Fuerzá Aerea Colombiana (FAC) received three FMA-58A Pucará in 1989 and operated them with Escuadrón de Operationes Especiales No.314 from Base Aérea Capitán Luis Francisco Gómez Niño near the town of Apiay, which was part of Comando Aéreo de Combate No.2 (CACOM 2).
The type was a relatively short time in active service and was retired already in 1996 and apparently sold to Uruguay as a source of spare parts.

Thanks for looking and I hope these pictures are of interest to some.
Cheers, Peter
These are my other Contributions on Fighter Control:
Pakistan Air Force Shenyang FT-5 at Mianwali, March 1986
Philippine Air Force NA AT-28D at Cauayan Airport, April 1992
Chilean Air Force Hawker Hunter at Antofagasta, March 1989
Indian Air Force MiG 25 at Adampur, October 1990
Equatorian Air Force Cessna A-37B Dragonfly at Manta, June 1989
Indian Air Force Hawker Hunter at Kalaikunda, November 1990
