While I've been looking through Jaguar files this selection caught my attention. It was an event to mark the stations building in 1939-1940 and the integration into the then 'Fighter Command'. Opened on Friday 16th September 2005 to the public with more activities planned over the weekend for former based personnel and foreign air force squadrons having affiliation.
On with the shots

Very good, interesting, set (as per usual) Keith. Thanks for sharing. Brings back happy memories of a visit to the base back in 1990 while @ ROC Training Camp in the area. Ended up in the Mess for Happy Hour consuming some of the best (and cheapest) Sam Smiths beer I'd ever tasted before adjourning to the nearby Ratcatchers Arms for some excellent Steak Pie and Chips to soak it up! What a good day out that was!

I have very similar shots, especially the TORNADO F.3 - So therefore we must have been not far from each other :Wow:
