Pleased to see the British Phantom thread went down well. How about when the RAF had an abundance of Transport & Tankers. Again taken by myself or my later father Mike Freer.. Enjoy

What a delightful set of photos, love the camo VC-10.
(I thought that was the little known 6 engined Hastings at first glance!)

A fantastic set of shots Stuart from you and your late dad. Also you have scanned and post processed then exceptionally well. What a great time to have been a military photographer in the seventies to nineties!

Takes me back to the late 60s and early 70s RAF BoB At Home Days. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks for sharing these, some great shots and memories there. Regarding the Argosy, I took visited Kemble in 1975 and saw several in outside storage. The 115 Sqn example shown landing should be XR143. Hard to pick a favourite, but it has to be the Hastings, always a favourite of mine. TG503 is preserved in Berlin and several years ago, I visited the museum where it's displayed, it's now in the original scheme, but for the sum of one Euro, I was able to enter the interior and watch a film about the Berlin Airlift. All great shots and thank you for sharing these with us.

Together with the Phantom images you posted, excellent.
We have probably become so familiar with high quality, well processed digital images its refreshing to see and enjoy "old school" 35mm film images presented to the same high standard.
Thank you

Another superb set, Hercs looked fantastic in the desert cammo colours - I even had a 1/72 Airfix kit looking the same back in the 70's!
Thank you for posting.

Brilliant set of images! The camo' schemes on the Herc's and Argosy's pre-dated my owning a camera so are especially nice memory "jerkers" from the BoB shows of the late 60's and early 70's. Such a joy to see photographs that are not all grey fighters! Thanks for posting.

Wow! What a set thanks for posting. Another vote for the Hasting, always had a soft spot for the type growing up in Bath and visiting relatives in Colerne where they were a daily sight and sound around the village operating out of RAF Colerne.
