Rounding of this series of posts from 1977-78 at Lossiemouth, a mixture of aircraft from various countries.

Thanks again, they certainly show the variety of stuff regularly seen (apart from the Aussie!)

Another great set, hard to believe today that all 5 sets you’ve posted were all taken in the space of less than 2 years, and I dare say you missed a lot as well(USN F-4’s for starters).

Thanks for sharing these with us, another great selection of types, the only one still active is the Aeronavale Falcon. Nice to see the Australian Tracker, the only one I saw was at Greenham Common IAT in 1977, presume must have been around the same time.

I knew you'd like the F5's Paddy.

Thunder, there were indeed a few things I missed over the years and thought to myself, why didn't you go back to the block and get the camera... idiot.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I'm currently scanning prints from mid 78-79, which were taken on my first SLR,(camera, not rifle), which are much better images than the ones taken on the Instamatic.

What a great set as were all the others, nice to see Dutch and Belgian Starfighters as I never saw them in service. Thanks for posting Mike

Remember back in the day? Airfete and all the visiting NATO contributions were- yawn- not more Starfighters! Look at those beauties and I can still hear the CAF-Stars on the old 11 approach- where's mi oilcan!
Brilliant.

Ah, you lucky chap, right place right time. And you know what? You had the presence of mind at the time to capture those remarkable images. The quality of film and the type of camera you used is irrelevant, they're all priceless. Thanks for sharing your memories with us :thumb:

Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.

A great variety of aircraft that at the time we took for granted.A couple of years before I had a decent camera so to see these brings a lot of spotting memories back.
