Great post, especially for the 'Gunfighters' & Trackers. That nose-less T-33, for a fleeting moment thought I was looking at an F-84

Excellent! I assume these are at more than 1 location? I initially thought the T-33 and F-8s were at Mojave, but then I realised that didn't seem right, and figured probably Avra Valley? Then possibly Chino for the Canberra and the A-26 (B-26?) and finally Falcon Field for the Harpoons? Or of course I could be miles out with all of these!

Deer Valley (Thunderbird Aviation) for the F-8s and T-33. Canberra looks like Mesa?

I meant Deer Valley, not Avra Valley! May well be Mesa for the Canberra. I'm sure I saw a pair of ex-RN machines somewhere in AZ in 1996, but it wasn't Mesa. For some reason I have Chino in mind, but I can't find any record of them in my log (or indeed any record of having ever BEING to Chino, but I'm sure I did!), and everything I can find online for that timescale seems to take me back to Mesa!

Interesting!. I never knew that the Navy had a turbo-prop Tracker. Anyone know if it actually saw service, or was it just experimental?.. Nice pics.

They were conversions from piston for other customers done at Mesa (Marsh Aviation) and other places (Canada?), Brazil and France used them. There was an ex French one at this years RIAT.

Didn't the Canberra end up in Florida?

There were two Canberras at Mesa both ex FRADU - N76764/848 and N76765/846 . They were still there not that long ago but looked to have both moved on now.

Thanks, Alf. I knew about the Fire Fighting ones etc., but did the American Navy actually have them in service?

Thanks guys for all your comments ,Don't think the US Navy used them but the Grumman S-2T Turbo Tracker was used by the Taiwan - Navy

I was at Pima in May 23 and there were, what appeared to be, 3 C12's in the storage area behind the Canberras in this pic. So far I've been unable to ID these aircraft, can anyone help please?

The C12's can be seen behind the hangar.

Is that a silver F-117 in front of the tree line above the C-119?

Pima Museum have F-117A 84-0810, which according to US Demobbed is in the storage area.
