I really miss the Waddington airshows. Always did the arrivals day too. I remember the 2007 show as being wet, as well as for the Indian Su-30MKIs, in fact I think one of the days was cancelled due to car park flooding. Anyway I remember enjoying it all. Really nice to see all those 25 Sqn F3s

We always went as VIP’s for my birthday treat both days, and were having our bacon bap brekkies when first we were told to stay put, then told the show was cancelled, then told to get off base asap as they were worried all the vehicles currently on base would get stuck

A great show indeed. Ended up at Newark on the Sunday instead. You knew you was onto a winner when it coincided with Indra Dhanush..
