Heyford Varks

Post by roughcutter » Tue May 21, 2024 9:57 am

Not certain whether or not I've posted these here before (sometime in the past), but since evryone seems to be in the mood for the 'ol Swingers' here's some shots taken from a morning session with the 'other lot', back in March 92. Down the farm track over the railway bridge ;)

Some excellent catches there roughcutter despite the dark sky. I'll have to dig out my circa 1980 Open Day pics again.

Fantastic shots - brings back many happy memories of summer days at UH. Great to see the Ravens too.

Cheers Guys, Of all the USAFE bases, Heyford was my all time favourite place to be at. I was delighted when the M40 was finally opened (89/90?), it made getting down there so much easier for us lot (from up Norf), shame it was short lived :(
Still, glad I was around to see it. :thumb:
