Thanks for sharing these, more great memories from that day. I remember that Tu154 arriving, totally unexpected, not long after that, the Russians arrived spectacularly with the Su27. Even the Aeroflot Tu134 drew plenty of attention as well. In Wallace & Gromit talk, A Grand Day Out.

What a superb show that was. Thanks for posting, it brought back a heap of happy memories. Can't believe I did it in a days round trio from sunny Norfolk....
I was a glutton for punishment in those days, and 30 years younger!

Great!!. Somehow, traveling long distances seemed so much easier [and more practical] than it does these days. Less traffic, and a fabulous show to see and remember on the way back!.
