British Army Bells...

Now that the Army Air Corps Bell 212s have been phased from service, with their role in far-flung places now being undertaken by RAF Pumas, here's some snaps of the Bell 212 in action in its final years.

these are all really wonderful.....a type that is rarely photographed. Love them all but #3 is the pick of them for me !

eLaReF, I am jealous you got to snap 969 in her Kermit colour scheme, only saw her the once in those colours.

Great shots of a sadly missed type. I also saw "Kermit" on a couple of occasions but was unable to record the event for posterity!

What's the story behind that paint scheme - it must be the most ugly scheme they could have dreamt up for the helicopter?

I didn't even know it was called the Kermit scheme!

There is/was a Jaguar at Bruntingthorpe the same though - I'll just post the link since off-topic
