Well I never thought I'd be shooting a Wessex air to air in 2022, 26 years after the last time.....
Was lucky enough to get a ride to RIAT 2022 in Historic Helicopters Sea King XZ597, to/from Chard in the company of Wessex XT761..

Wonderful, enhanced by the countryside backdrops. Love the cockpit shot too, with Yeovilton below.

Right on the money there mate and what an absolute joy to see top drawer captures of one of my favourite choppers of all time.

Simply superb - all of them, but that last shot!
Happy memories of seeing them fly daily from 771 NAS @ Culdrose - even managed to be winched up and down from XS523 in the hover, when the weather was too clamped in to take us for a flight!

Why don't you post your "yellow" Wessex from RAF Valley you took back in the day, I'm sure the viewers would appreciate it.
