RAF Harriers above the clouds from 2003(ish).
Well it's rather a lot of Harrier images today...
Once again the 'rooms with a view' were provided by the excellent 'offices' of RAF Brize Norton.
Another event that my images sadly do little justice to and struggle to represent the skills and professionalism involved throughout.
I'd like to blame the poor quality of some on the 'mucky' windows but this would be truly disingenuous!
Still; they are the best I could do, and I'm not going back!
1 Sqn and 3 Sqn receivers I believe.
Time to plough on through them if you have the patience... good luck!

Well done for getting through them... a bit repetitious but as someone has previously said... they're OK.
Thanks for your time.
Best wishes as always... a few Jaguars next if I can find them lurking!
All for now

Freddie - it has often been said that for this section of the forum, quality of subject far outweighs image quality. They are pretty good anyway considering they are scans. We have become too accustomed to the digital "perfection" of today. Keep them coming please. Not that many of us have been "up-top" to get these sort of shots. I was very lucky to get a Tristar flight with the ATC refuelling Phantoms and Tornado F.3s. Terrible record photos but something I will never forget.
Thanks for your hard work to capture and regenerate these for all to share - fantastic!

Thanks for sharing these, nice to see lots of Harriers being tanked.

How could anyone get bored ‘ploughing’ through those shots
Great to see, and thanks for taking the time and trouble to post them

A great selection of a wonderful aircraft, (why oh why did we get shot of them?), thanks for sharing your experience. Regards, Gordon
