Canadian Dash-7s looked great, sadly never styed in service very long.
Great stuff.
I saw the YF-16A's at Edwards in 1974!!
Negative, they were operational with the SVBIA at Lecce, but had yet to be coded. This initial colourscheme was known as 'Marlboro', as it resembled the fag packet.Mustang531 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 9:34 pmRegarding the MB339s, I seem to remember them appearing at Farnborough that year too. London City did not open until the end of 1987/ early 1988?Supra wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 1:32 pmGreat selection of the IAD Static. I also liked the CC-132 & they used to show up at events quite frequently whilst with 412 Transport Squadron at Canadian Forces Base Lahr, in West Germany.
Coincidentally, the Commercial Dash-7 flew the daily schedules from the co-located Newquay Airport to London City with Brymon Airways around that time. I've no photo's of those though! It's amazing the difference a paint-scheme makes to your judgement?![]()
