Five a day - Part 85

No self-respecting series of photos would be complete without a few of these in the mix. A big and quite stunning fighter, which most people know because of Top gun if nothing else. Regrettably, no photos from Lossie, and I have seen them overfly but never on the ground.

Great memories of a fighter that seemed to end its career way too soon. One of the very few US Navy types that didn't see the runway at Lossie but as you say it did grace the skies overhead.

Another one I saw displayed at IAT really effectively. Great looking jet.

Thanks for sharing these, saw quite a few over the years, but retired a bit too early IMHO. Nice to see some colourful markings too. I know these Five A Day shots are coming to the end and I think I can speak for everyone that we've enjoyed viewing them.

Take My Breath Away. Nice to see a Puckin' Dog in there - even if it is supposed to be a Gryphon!

A fantastic subject - my favourite jet as a kid and then Top Gun was released - how lucky was I?!

As others have said, I've really enjoyed these 'Five a Day' posts - thanks for going to the effort.
