A great historic image, who cares about the quality, especially with the camera gear and film we had back then.

81-0898 is a C-18B at this point, and the only one at that!

It supported the MILSTAR satellite programme, before being converted to a TC-18E in 2000.

So, an even rarer aircraft than your first thought!

All thanks for the comments, only ever saw one other C-18 81-0895 which was at Mildenhall in July 1986 (thought i had loaded this already in another post but cant find it , apoligies if I have posted this already)

Nice shot, I also saw this beauty at the Hall at this time, on 27-7-86, great memories.
