1989 IAT Fairford

I finally got around to finishing my scans of 1989's IAT at a very sunny Fairford. I've posted the Rasperry Ripples previously so here's some of the less colourful aircraft.

Thanks for sharing these, some great shots from a great RIAT. That was the first time the Greeks attended.

Brilliant Andy - can remember getting burnt at this one - falling asleep under the FIAT grandstand as TOO hot!
The 'SAC' attack was a good feature with the B-1, 52, FB-111 and KC-135

Great set. Great memory.
My pictures are almost shot at identical the same position, but not far as good and sharp as these ones.
And yes it was the hottest IAT/RIAT I ever visited. And guess one of my hottest air show ever. There was almost no shade, and no buildings of course. (Ever since I always carry a hat and a longsleeve shirt with me)
I remember the military were arranging extra (free) water points.
