Tornado Sunset - RAF Lossiemouth

Post by Jason Grant » Tue Apr 06, 2021 8:19 am

Hi everyone, I have just edited a few sunset shots from a trip to RAF Lossiemouth in January 2008. I guess like many people, I am in need of an aviation fix and I am trying to fend off the blues by looking at some older shots.

20 minutes before sunset, looking out to sea.

And down the runway.

And a few minutes later.

And one last time.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice artistic shots, adds a bit of variety to the forum. Bet it was a tad nippy though! Thank you for sharing these.

It sure was. We had to depart back home earlier than planned as well due to heavy snowfall in the Cairngorms and the snow gates were going to be shut. I can think of worse places to be trapped though ;)

Wow!
:thumb:
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?
