Hello all, some pics taken at Lossie during 1991 (at least, that's what the date is on the slide mounts!):

Lovely selection Terry. Think 1991 is about correct ,remember seeing the Portuguese A-7s and the Tu-154 coming in at a weekend ?

Thanks very much guys.

Al, I'm afraid I stopped keeping accurate records after 1983, so can't remember when the TU-154 came in, but I think I know someone who will!

Portuguese A-7’s may have been Sept 1993, the TU-154 visited Lossie on several occasions but I don’t think as early as ‘91’.

Spanish F-5’s were ‘91’.

Went up tp Lossie to get desert cammed Buccs, in I think Sept 91, and was really pleased to get those Spanish F5's. Didn't get any desert Buccs though.

Just checked my slides. You are right about TU-154. Mounts are date-stamped 03/92. Apologies for a senior moment.

The Portuguese A-7 mounts are date-stamped 06/91. I do have pics of other visits, possibly including 1993.

Great stuff :thumb:

The A-7s were there again in September 1993 along with a lot of other visitors when 12 Sqn marked their disbandment , was very lucky to get a press invite for the day too many to post but if interested they are all here :S

The Portuguese visit in 1993 was a Sqd Exchange with 16(R)Sqn and weren’t officially part of the 12 Sqn open afternoon.

I think there was a pair of 57FIS F-15's as well, if I remember correctly?
