Comox - Sep 2014

Post by aenstrop » Fri Aug 21, 2020 11:01 pm

Seeing the recent Argus thread reminded me of taking these photos at Comox, Vancouver Island, while waiting at the terminal for a flight to Vancouver. Must visit the museum next time I’m over there, whenever that may be.

There were also some lovely stained glass windows at the entrance to the terminal.

Looks like a nice selection of aircraft at that museum. And in the other pics I always liked the Buffalo in that rescue scheme.

Thanks for posting.

Lovely base in a beautiful part of the world

Last time I was there was 1988 for the air show https://pbase.com/usnavypatchman/cmx88 if interested , before that it was when I took the CP-107 pics back in 1977 , along with CF-101's and CT-133's :D

Love the rescue stuff ..great scheme the Canadians have

Thanks for posting
