Tooms from the tomb

Post by paddyboy » Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:07 pm

Hi Peeps :P

Plenty of indoor time at the mo', so some delving has been done

You can see the usual suspects, venue-wise ;)

As most of these are 1992, I presume we are looking at Archie and Mark as the crew putting on the shows

A Phabulous presentation of Tombs Paddy.

Could I suggest that, in addition to Archie and Mark's 1992 display aircraft, the four ship pictures might be from the 1991 IAT at Fairford and I'm not sure if they flew any displays using a 74 Squadron marked aircraft, they generally used the airframes with the 56 Squadron Firebird checkerboards on the engine intakes.

Hi guys :P

Thanks so much for peeking and replying

Richard: think the slide blurb says '07 91' in faded print, so you'really probably on the money ;)

Cheers :thumb:

How could they call that "double ugly" ? It's a beautiful looking jet.
Thanks Mr.PB, really enjoyed looking at them.

Have to confess, I've never liked them, but that might be because they replaced the Lightning
