Excellent work and an unusual subject.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

Thanks Gents - Appreciate it.

These are my favorite machine and I feel very privileged to have blagged a few rides in them!

This was on a 7 ship troop insert into a 'hot' DZ - artillery was firing until were were on short final, the door gunners were blasting away with blanks from M-60s - the cabin was full of burnt cordite smoke and the grunts were screaming at each other to go.

You can see 3 of the other cabs in the formation.

Happy Days - oh and it was a bank holiday Monday!

With Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyrie" as a backing track as well ?

Thanks for sharing another set to be proud of, probably some of the best pictures which have been posted on FC.

Yes I had that thought during the flights -I was pinching myself as you can imagine just sat in the Door Gunners seat - darn cold though with the door open!

Thanks a million for the comments :)
