San Diego : The 'Top Gun Bar' & The Flying Leatherneck Museum

Post by Mike » Sat Nov 30, 2019 5:52 pm

These were taken on Friday, this is the bar used in the original Top Gun film in San Diego, it's actually called 'The Kansas City Barbeque'................

More info about the locations used in the film can be found here :- https://www.locationshub.com/blog/2013/ ... -must-know

'That' piano.......

This 17 squadron print is on the wall and has been zapped by those naughty 653 squadron chaps of the AAC.......... :grr:

A general view of the bar, it's quite small but full of interesting things to look at..........

And a few from the Flying Leatherneck Museum (these were taken yesterday), which is free entry (sorry about the iPhone quality of them). :)
