Hawk T1's
I know they haven't gone yet, with the Reds and 100Sqn still operating them, but I thought I would post a few pictures of the various schemes over the last 30 years

XX172 wearing St Athan Station Flight colours at RIAT 95

XX195 in the special 100Sqn colours at Brize Norton Air Show 92
XX226 by Jon Wickenden, on Flickr
XX226 wearing a rather large 74Sqn insignia at Finningley BoB airshow 92
XX283 by Jon Wickenden, on Flickr
XX263 of 2TWU / 151Swn at Bournemouth International Airshow 1986. The camouflaged Hawks, wearing the 151Sqn bars are what I think is the best scheme ever worn by a British military Hawk
XX317 by Jon Wickenden, on Flickr
XX317 of 208Sqn, I think, at Mildenhall 95?
XX220 by Jon Wickenden, on Flickr
XX220 wearing CFS markings at RAF Valley in August 93
XX154-Boscombe-2 by Jon Wickenden, on Flickr
and finally XX154 of ETPS at Boscombe Down 2015

Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Hi Jon
Nice to see some variations in schemes back in the day
Now it's just black (or red) for Hawks and grey, grey, grey for the rest
Thanks for posting

Re: Hawk T1's
Some classic Hawk schemes there but I may have to add a couple in WWII camo in due course.

Re: Hawk T1's
Great pictures. I've got a 1/32 Hawk to build. I can't decide what scheme to do it in...any suggestions? I was thinking the original Red and White..or maybe blue fin and spine...or maybe XX231 when it was blue. All schemes I grew up with at Valley
Re: Hawk T1's
How about this retro 1939 camo scheme which 19 Sqn. turned out in 2009!

Re: Hawk T1's
Think I'm right in saying that XX172 was the 1st. RAF display a/c to appear in a special paint sch, along with its twin, in '86 if memory serves.

Re: Hawk T1's
Great to see all the Hawk schemes from over the years
Always liked the original red & white and the camo schemes best.
