Good memories! 1997 was for me one of the best RIATs I ever attended. Also for the celebration of 50 years USAF

Thanks for posting.

Some lovely schemes here - love the Bone. There were 4 at that show!

I’m pretty certain quite a few of these are from the 1991 Tiger Meet. The Portuguese Gina, Tiger F-15C from Bitburg, Italian Starfighter and French AF Magister for example.

Hi Dan, yes both 1991 and 1997 RIATs - the dates are becoming more vague as I get older! I should have guessed there was more than one RIAT involved as the following pic from 1991 was mixed up with my Tiger shots.

I might be wrong but ive got a strong feeling the blue tiger tailed Dutch F-16's are from before 1997. I made a model of one too and it was way before that i think.

They don't appear in Scramble's list for '97, but do for the '91 Tiger Meet

Some of the participants of the Tiger Meet held at RIAT 1997.Never noticed the B.1 was a Tiger Meet aircraft until I noticed the tail markings. A great show with sunshine!

....

Must have been the 1991 TigerMeet. J-012 crashed 10-07-1996....

Great set. 97 was a very good show.. As well as the mini tiger meet wasn't there a 'fighter meet' too where a couple of the highlights being the F-100 in the flying display, as well as the Ukrainian and Russian flankers displaying 'head to head'... or am i mistaken?

Great photos. One of my favourite RIAT's over all the years. The weather and the particpants made it stand out for me. Thanks for posting.
I was with it all the way until I released the brakes.....
