Saturday 8th June saw seven C-47s pay an overnight visit to Old Warden. Has the airfield previously seen so many aircraft of the size all at the same time? I doubt it.
A few wearing civil markings built they all started life with USAAC serials.

Re: Old Warden C-47 arrivals
Glad you like them.
Certainly was an aural treat.
The pilot of N8336C made me chuckle when he said "This sure is a small field." I doubt he flies his DC-3 into anything quite so restricted out in the USA.
