A few from the forgotten F3 Fin

Post by paddyboy » Tue Mar 05, 2019 12:31 pm

Hi Peeps :P

I can't match the superb shots of the GR4s that have cropped up on Current :'(

I have found a few of the almost forgotten fighter variant though ;)

Not forgotten on me. The F3 may have been an underdog in the fighter dept dynamically, but who doesn't love an underdog, or one that performed an airshow routine like it did. Always remember it finishing some of its RIAT displays with a very high speed pass followed by a vertical climb into the heavens whilst rolling all the way :thumb:

EDIT: I've just noticed the updated FC logo at top of the page. Nice :)

One that some of us will never forget. Nice selection of two images of two of the display ships. Esp. liking #5. XXV Sqn. actually had a pair of them in that scheme which I only belatedly realised when cataloguing my collection of F3 pics.

Nice pics Paddy, particularly like the Firebirds. I can remember those halcyon days, even though I am only 21 years of age.....

The best looking of the Tornado family (especially 43's overall black one)
Thanks for posting Paddy.
