Hi
Lovely shots brought some very Happy memories as I was served on 74(F) Squadron and one of the groundcrew on the display team, wonderful aircraft and camp to serve on.
Best Wishes

Phabulous!
Lovely aircraft & one of my favourites.
Growing up in the 1980's I remember watching the 56 sqn machines doing circuits on the outskirts of Colchester, a solo Phantom used to always appear late afternoon just after school at least 2 or 3 times a week & fly around for 15-20 mins before departing, no other aircraft appeared it was always Phantoms. Never did find out why they did that?
I got to meet one of the final year display aircrew at Mildenhall Air Fete 92. If I remember correctly he was called Archie?

And there's plenty more where that came from!

Archie Liggot - great guy, took me for a supersonic run in an FG1 off Scotland once. He flew Black Mike a fair bit too.
