Tom,

Many moons since I was last there, so thanks for sharing.

Quirkiness of number 4 appeals to me.

I thought it was an A-12 lurking in the background, not an SR-71. Is it a real one?

I have it as an A-12, can't see that window.

Been twice and never knew you could get up into the control tower. Next time... :D

It's an A-12 (60-6925), most obvious items are no navigators window and the nose profile is different.
Love the wrapped F-15, must tell Santa !

Re. the A-12, aye, there's no RSO window, but what initially caught my attention was the blunt back-end; it doesn't have the extended tail of the SR.
I'll go back to the Paul Crickmore books and update my knowledge the remaining airframes.

Thanks. I just wanted to give a realistic idea of the available view from inside the bridge. I always think the background Manhattan skyline is quite a jarring contrast to the jets on the flight deck, and with the recent massive construction works at Hudson Yards, it seems to be getting ever more oppressive around Pier86.
