RIGA AIR MUSEUM

Post by AMOSASLEF » Mon Sep 24, 2018 8:31 pm

A Lost weekend in Latvia gave the Opportunity to Visit the Aviation Museum at Riga Airport and the Cities Holocaust Museum. The Museum really is a Ex Soviet Graveyard, Entry is Weekends Only Usually and is 7 Euros. In the Corner of the Airfield there is a Aeroflot TU-134 and a TU-22 Backfire, How they will fit these in the museum remains to be seen. A Great Place and a Cracking City to Visit.

Looks like a cracking collection of Soviet era air frames. Just wondering whether they'll win the race to get them under cover before they rust away.
