Woodbridge's Rescue Herc's

Post by bigcrow » Thu Dec 07, 2017 11:22 am

A selection of 67th ARRS Herc's taken at Woodbridge by late father Mike Freer back in May 1979

#1 69-5823 HC-130N 67th ARRS, RAF Woodbridge. This was probably the Squadron's last Hercules to wear this colour scheme before adopting less colourful camouflage & then the bland grey scheme.

#2 65-0962 HC-130H 67th ARRS, RAF Woodbridge. Always loved this scheme, just looked right on a C-130.

#3 65-9826 HC-130P 67th ARRS, RAF Woodbridge. Notice the bird in-corperated in the camo on the tail.

Thank you SO much for posting the shot of 0962. I have been in search of a full color shot of her as a rescue bird for over a decade. WOW what a great one it is.
