Inverted F-104 - Would this be legal these days? (Updated)

I distinctly remember people moving back from the crowdline when the Belgian Silvers performed. Again, apologies for the quality, but it is quite rare I think...?
UPDATE
This would be frowned on, I guess!!!

What are you really asking?
Yes, an in service military jet would be able to perform an inverted flypast within the parameters of the display conditions.
No, any F-104 flying would not be able to perform an inverted flypast at an airshow in the UK as of today as it would be civilian owned.
The Belgian Air Force F-104 team were nothing to do with Diablo Rouges who flew Magisters, they were called the Slivers and by all accounts flew much lower than what is permitted today, so yes they would have to change their routine to suit the rules.
As for the picture, not one of your best.

Thanks for the info!
I did apologise for the quality (I was only 12!!) but I've been asked to put up these oldies as and when I scan them for the historic interest.
Should I stop as I'm quite new to this?

John - please do not stop posting just because of one negative comment. Your posts are what this section should be about - nostalgic photos which, let's face it are never going to be up to today's digital standards but as is often said the content outweighs the quality.

Yes keep posting. Slivers were a highlight of the Biggin Hill displays in my youth, loved them. When I was even younger the Frecce Triccolori on Fiat G-91s who used to close the show as I recall. I remember the solo display aircraft flying over the front of the crowd inverted and very low. Exciting at the time but with hindsight totally unnecesssary.
