A trip to treat the girls to Legoland over the weekend allowed for a little treat for myself as well as them. Decided to nip just down the road to F.A.S.T / Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museaum. Having studied their website and noting that the collection is open at teh weekends and Bank Holiday Monday's got there for first opening. With the lovely blue skies that the heat wave is currently giving us, and the sunshine on the exhibit's they have, feared for the worse as the sun was on the road/fence side of the aircraft. However the ever so helpful staff there made it possible to make the most out of the sunshine, and even treated the girls at the same time to experience what it was like to sit in the Harrier T.4.

So here's a selection of images showing off their fine collection of aircraft.

Slogen51 - Totally agree with you. Have spent time looking at all different museums to visit with my girls, for when work is forgiving enough to allow me time off. You can pass the day so quickly looking at all the little gems they have there.

Xplumber - Dare I say if work allows another trip down that neck of the woods the visit would be on the cards, however I can imagine that it would also mean a trip into one of the theme parks as well to give the little ladies their yearly thrill dose.

I think XPLUMBER has noted the date in your title.
Easy slip of the finger to make. I saw a post from Fairford very recently dated July 17 instead of June. I wanted to ask what Riat was like, so I know what to expect in a few weeks time!!
