Post by Johan16 » Fri Sep 16, 2016 8:13 pm

Busy uploading some early digital shots taken at Eggebek 2003.

The identity of the Bf.109 remains a question mark.
Can't find any link to its true identity

Uploads of my eggebek 2003 snapshots completed

Pictures are taken with my first digital camera. They are not the best ones.
My Negatives of the static en mainly are a bit better, but they need a lot of rework.

De set includes static A-4 Skyhawk, f-4, Italian F-104s, Mig-29, BDRT F-104, F-16s in multi colors and some Tornados

One airshow shot is added, a Tornado just after rotation and gear up.
It took me 22 minutes to rework this frame.

Scramble's report of the show gives an incomplete registration (d-....),white 1,but lists it as belonging to EADS.Hope this helps.

Many thanks for the effort.

Tonight I found photo of N3109, later D-FWME (C.4K-75)
It spent some time at La ferte Alais (for rework to DB605)
Before it went to germany

The paint work appears to match
I have seen a Bf.109 at LFA 2002.
Will try to find the scans soon

It was my thought that it may be D-FWME as well but I can not find any reference to it ever being painted as White 1 , but it was under restoration at that time for EADS so................

A picture of the LH side is available (but not uploaded) it does not show any additionals details.

Like the eggebek show reports, Scramble has also no ID for this LFA 2002 Bf.109 and also not of the Bf.109 at RIAT2003

It All appears the same Bf.109

By 2004 D-FWME is reported at LFA 2004 all white (silver) https://flic.kr/p/757vHz

Sofar I can only suspect that the Bf.109 at Eggebek 2003 is actually D-FWME and most likely its only apperance as 1+-.
It had no markings at RIAT2003
