Vulcan XH558 Air to Air - October 2015

Post by Ben Montgomery » Sat May 07, 2016 12:20 pm

Back in October last year I had the chance to join the Aviation PhotoCrew for one of the last air to air sorties with XH558. We flew out of Duxford, met the Vulcan after it's final airshow display at Shuttleworth and then dragged in back past Newmarket and Cambridge.

Less talking, more pictures for this one I think - they're larger on the Flickr page if you want to see that.

I'm not going to forget this for a long time!

Stunning.

You lucky, lucky..........

Monochrome shots are gorgeous, and bearing in mind it was the last flight, poignant.

I'm speechless, they are outstanding.

If people want to know how to take better photographs then you need to look at more photographs and learn from others. If anyone wants to know what great air to air images look like they need to look at these

Out of these the two black and whites are the stand out images for me.

Thanks for sharing, making me feel VERY humble and giving me loads of inspiration
