Spitfire F.22 PK664. This aircraft was the one which the RAF Museum "paid" Kennet Aviation for the recovery and return of the P-40 which was found in the desert in Egypt a couple of years ago, and is still to make it's way back to the UK

Great set, my claim to fame I photographed 40612...... The slides in the loft must dig them out.

I can remember my dad taking me to look at the Spitfire in the greenhouse type thing in Stoke......first time I'd seen one close up.

Just for the record Hunter 8002M is XF307 not 304......................
