A great set of shots, brings back memories of many days stood on top of the wolds at Binbrook. Wish we had digital camera's then. Nice to see XR726, I once owned the ejector seat that was once fitted to her, had it in the garage for thirty odd years.........

Amazing clear shots Fred. Thank you for sharing with us that are old enough to appreciate seeing this brilliant aircraft again :thumbs:

I can almost hear the great sound of the engines, a memory I will never forget :)

This section of the FC website is 1 of my favourites, as you just never know what is going to appear next :pop:

Great photographs and it brings back many good memories of Finningley Airshows. The Lightning was always a 'star-performer' to me! I've also learned something new today i.e. Lightnings were based at Leconfield, so thank-you for that.
