I think that I too must have bumped into you on those dates in June and July 1978 - especially if you were in the "Spotters Car Park".

Incidentally, the Israeli Herc is an H model (c/n 4653).

Those are very retro, I wish I hadn't got stuck in Amsterdam in the late1970s,I would have been better off getting high on there fumes the KC97 is a dream..

These scans, yours and Pete's, get better and better. So much history of the visitors to the base

Ran some of my prints from the mid / late eighties through the scanner the other day - these beat mine hands down! - I'll give up now!

A real interesting post & show what variety was to be seen back in the good old days.. The NC-130 is particulary rare...
