Hi Darren,

That's pure nostalgia just Luv that ZR RF-4C, I had forgotten how good they looked in camo. As for the burgers and Buds by goodness those USAF airmen knew what they were doing spraying water on to the burgers as the flames erupted, I can smell it now and those cold buds?

Many thanks for that, Mike

Happy days. Never tire of seeing Air Fete pics. I can almost smell the burgers even tho' a Polish sausage was always more satisfying. You never needed more than one.

Someone previously mentioned a Hustler at at Mildenhall Show...... that was in pre-Air Fete days. The B58 was in the static at the 1969 Armed Forces Day. Other aircraft on display were the Delta Dagger and F84Fs from various NATO countries plus a C133
Its gonna rain, its gonna rain till the levee breaks, a tidal wave of fear and pain washes us away, another fight into the night until nothing else remains, how do we find harbour from the Hurricane?

Every Air Fete was great american hospitality at its best now when we go down to RIAT an american base Fairford they even stopped the base selling American food that was the ultimate end to using the AMERICAN great catering ! i understand the profits went to the booster club for the children ? Rob
