Really super post
I used to go to Whyton but didn't take photos - what a prat!
I like the Canberra shots as they are nostalgic to me as I only saw a mirage IV fly very occasionally at French air shows ( JATO assisted!)

What a great set takes me back to my first tour out of training at Wyton...fantastic camp and brilliant time there.
And nice catch on XH131, looks like she has the System 3 IRLS fitted which was quite rare to see.
Regards

In fairness, not many people had cameras years ago. Nowadays every enthusiast has a quality DSLR or similar, and every 10 year old has a mobile phone capable ofslogen51 wrote:I used to go to Whyton but didn't take photos - what a prat!

Hi Steve,
What a great post, classic aircraft and when the RAF had some aircraft.
Loved Wyton, great for watching the action.
All the best
Andy
