Indian Dakota

The Indian Air Force Historic Flight DC-3, VP905, undertook an air test this afternoon at CVT, prior to making the scheduled move to India in the very near future.

While it will be a shame to see this fantastic aircraft leave the UK, it must be noted that the aircraft faced a very uncertain future during its time sat outside at Kemble, so its great that the aircraft will live on, flying around India!

Thanks for looking

Very nice shots. When you say " in the very near future", would it be possible to list the potential times/dates for said departure?
Two things of note here....
1] I had assumed the Indian crew would be building hours now it's 'handed over', but both pilots would appear no to be? :O
2] Given that you have access to the 'inside' at Coventry, I'm fairly sure you will know when to show-up for the final departure? :ninja:

Testing and training took place before the handover I believe. Sorry not sure when it's off. Was supposed to be today (no clue what time), but given the forecast wind I imagine that could change
